TIMES JABAR, JAKARTA – Kyle Parsons, an American who fall in love to Bali on the first sight decided to take further step to safe this beautiful island. When he got to this island he was mesmerized with its tropical beauty yet disgusted by the huge pile of waste anywhere his eyes go. And there he decided to create Indosole, a international footwear company .
Indosole is a footwear product made of unused tires. "Motorcycle is the top mode transportation in Indonesia which then creates lots of tire waste. So the tire was a unique symbol of solution that could be turned into fashionable product," Parsons said on Now This Earth.

It's almost 13 years in the business since it was first established in Bali. They manufactured the pproduct in Bali but based out of San Francisco, CA, US. Indosole made their product from scratch with the help of local community good will and local artisans.
They made such a recipe to their own company. 40% percent o the footwear made out of tire, 30% natural rubber, and 30% new material and carfted by the local artisans. Indosole made the sole of the tire cutouts, the upper part frm natural material such as organic canvas grass and banana leaves.
Up until now, Indosole has managed to be a B-Corp and has been in business for 10+ years and is growing into a player in the worldwide footwear market. It's now available in US, Europe, Australia/NZ, Singapore, Middle East, and Japann apart of Indonesia itself.
As for now they have made their own recipe for good qualified rubber for their footwear. You could have a pair of Indosole footwear for IDR 400 K to IDR 780 K or around $ 35 to $ 70.
