TIMES JABAR, YOGYAKARTA – The Arangkusumo Beach sky was filled with lots of beautiful kites on July 25-28 2019. It's because of the Jogjakarta International Kite Festival 2019 was held there. This Festival which is located at Arangkusumo Beach, Pangtritis, Bantul, Yogyakarta has been held for the 7th times.

This annual event was attended by 12 country around the world including Indonesia. There area round 40 participants flew their kite on the beach whic make the sky look more lovely.

The 12 countries are the Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Poland, China, South Korea, Taiwan, United States and Malaysia. Indonesia was represented by some participants from Riau Island, Kalimantan, Sumatera and Java.

According to Rinardi Dewantoro, the field manager in charge of the 7th Annual Jogjakarta International Kite Festival 2019, this kite festival was held by the local Tourism Department of Yogyakarta (Dinpar DIY) along with the The National Kite Activist Association (TALIKAMA). (*)
