TIMES JABAR, PACITAN – The local tourism awareness community of Siki, Penggung, Nawangan, Pacitan, Eadt Java trying to hive the local community community new place to spend their weekend. They decided to manage a nearby waterfall which is known by the local community as Grojogan Jurug.

Grojogan inthe local language means waterfall. Jurug waterfall actaully has become a place to go by the local on the weekend yet, it hasn't been equipped with proper public facilities. The people joining the community handbin hand in creating a nice facilities for the visitors.

They also add some spots to take a picture in the perfeft angle.  These spots will gjve you a stunning picture you really want. "We would like to bring out the local natural tourism potential," the leader for the local Youth Community Haryadi Widodo, said on Tuesday (24/8/2021).

Up until now, they still focusing on opening the pathways for the visitor. For this long the local visitor could only reach this area by feet and they have go through some bushes. "We are in progress to clean the bushes around and creating some watch post," Widodo added.

They will also build some cafeteria nearby with the local authentic cuisine served in it. They will take the local community to do the business for them. With all these facilities, Grojogan Jurug or Jurug Waterfall Pacitan will be a nice decent place to find some serenity. (*)
